1. Cuts and Scrapes

What to Do:

  1. Clean the Wound: Gently rinse the cut or scrape with clean, running water. Avoid using hydrogen peroxide or alcohol, as these can irritate the wound.
  2. Apply Pressure: If there’s bleeding, apply gentle pressure with a clean cloth or bandage until it stops.
  3. Cover the Wound: Once the bleeding has stopped, cover the wound with an adhesive bandage or sterile dressing. Change the dressing daily and keep an eye out for signs of infection, such as increased redness or swelling.

Place your arms around their waist, make a fist with one hand, and place it just above their navel. Grasp your fist with your other hand and perform quick, inward thrusts.
